HH 3.0 Tack & Apparel Use a forward seat or hunt-style saddle. Allowed bridles include regulation snaffles, pelhams, or full bridles with a cavesson noseband. Tongue ties are allowed. Horses may wear non-weighted bell boots and shin boots over fences but should have no boots or wraps on the flat. Standing or running martingales are allowed during fence work but not during flat work. Riders must wear hunt pants, conservative hunt coats, white button-down shirts, and hunter-style neckties. Black leather gloves, hunt boots that cover the shins, and black felt hunter hats with chin straps are required. Riders may carry a hunt seat riding crop no longer than 30 inches.
