MGN 4.0 Morgan Shoeing Regulations

1. Maximum hoof length is 5.75 inches for Park, In-Hand and Parade Division (including pads/shoes)

2. Maximum hoof length is 5 inches for English, Hunter and Western Pleasure Divisions (including pads/shoes)

3. Maximum hoof length is 4.75 inches for Classic Pleasure, full pads permitted

4. Only at larger shows with >200 entries should Championship Class Measurements of toe length be conducted in In-Hand, Park, English, Classic and Hunter for 1st and 2nd place winners. Measurements must be taken by show farrier and witnessed by ESC Certified Steward. Non-compliant toe length must result in disqualification by Steward, and an Incident Report should be submitted.

5. Unshod horses may be exhibited in any division.
