Required Emergency Medical Staff

RS409 Required Emergency Medical Staff It is strongly recommended that all shows, regardless of their size, have an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) or Qualified Medical Personnel present during all scheduled performances for treatment of human injury, and have a Human Ambulance Service ON CALL. Shows with greater than 250 entries are REQUIRED to have a designated Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) or Qualified Medical Personnel on site during scheduled classes. Major competitions, with more than 1,000 entries, should make every effort to have an ambulance on site during all scheduled performances. Shows are also strongly encouraged to have readily available emergency transport equipment for horses.
