What You Need to Know – ESC Mobile Hub Launches for KY State Fair’s World’s Championship – Offers Benefits to Exhibitors

In February 2024 the KY State Fair Board announced their decision to join Equine Sports Council’s Network of Sanctioned Horse Shows in their effort to obtain a new business partner for the World’s Championship Horse Show. The Leadership of ESC has taken a “heads down” approach in the efforts required to sanction this prestigious event on the green shavings.

Aside from providing sanctioning, ESC felt the need to contribute outside of our swim lane to ensure the success of the 2024 WCHS. In April, it was learned that one of the breed associations could no longer sponsor the Youth Programs, and that the mobile application used by WCHS exhibitors was no longer available that offered class counts and other services.

In a heads down approach ESC developed the ESC Mobile Hub, which is a light weight platform for use on mobile or tablet devices. By scanning the QR code an icon is added to your mobile home screen. You will never need to join, enter a password or login credentials or download the app from a store.

Understanding that our Youth are the future of our show breeds, The US Saddle Seat Association (USSSA) and Equine Sports Council (ESC) teamed up to sponsor several Youth Activities. The USSSA will sponsor the First Timers Ribbons ceremony in center ring and ESC will sponsor the Golf Cart Contest. Both of these can be reserved on the ESC Mobile Hub!
