Tamara Tucker Bio
Tamara Tucker has ridden and shown horses in the hunter/jumper discipline for over forty years. She grew up showing on the local Virginia Beach Horse Show Association circuit, winning top year-end awards in the hunter and equitation divisions for many years. She was trained by her mother, Nancy Dooley, whose solid equitation background came from growing up in Connecticut and riding with notable equitation trainers, including Victor Hugo-Vidal. Tammy attended Mary Washington College where she rode on the varsity Equestrian Team, winning high point rider awards numerous times and finishing in the top five at IHSA Nationals in 1989. Shane Darnell Bio
Involved in the show horse industry for over 40 years, Shane Darnell has shown under the direction of Taylor River Farm for the last 15 years, achieving numerous Amateur World Titles in the Western, Hunt and English Pleasure divisions. Shane has served on the board for the American Morgan Horse Education Charitable Trust. In 2019, Shane recognized the need for an alternative non-Olympic governing body and co-founded Equine Sports Council with Jackie Hale.
