Show Registration
Thank you for your interest in joining Equine Sports Council’s Network of Horse Shows. If you are new to the ESC Network, please contact us at 1-855-Equine1 to enroll. If your show is currently sanctioned by ESC, please login and renew this year’s show registration.
Benefits of ESC Show Registration
Come Grow With Us! In 2025, horse shows sanctioned by ESC experienced tremendous growth, with over 75% of the shows reporting a sell-out of stalls. We welcomed several new shows to our network, and we will award $25,000 in “Give Back Grants” in 2026 to our returning shows. Since 2020, shows in the ESC Network have received over $75,000 in grants and sponsorships.
Never a Membership Fee – Equine Sports Council is a non-member organization. Horse shows simply subscribe to Equine Sports Council’s sanctioning service by collecting a $15 fee per Performance horse and $5 fee per Academy rider. This allows for use of our Rule Book, Class and Judging Specifications and an Independent Grievance and Hearing Process. Shows may also elect to do drug testing conducted by a licensed equine veterinarian with samples processed by an ISO and ARCI certified drug lab. When you renew your Network participation with us in year 2 and subsequent years, you will receive 25% of the sanctioning fees collected the previous year as a “Give Back Grant” to assist you in promoting or improving your show.
Certification of Show Officials – Judges and Stewards are required to register their credentials with ESC. These In-Ring Officials may also apply for an annual certification that includes a rule book orientation quiz, show safety training, an in-person clinic for new candidates, and a virtual webinar. Outside the ring officials, including Show Commissioners and Show Managers, will also register with ESC and participate in a virtual orientation. By 2027, all ESC shows with more than 100 performance horses will be required to hire ESC Certified Judges and Stewards.
Officials Liability Insurance – Certified Judges and Stewards will receive a $6 million dollar Official’s Liability Insurance policy through the National Association of Sports Officials (NASO).
