Southern Saddlebred Spring Fling Gets Green Light from the State of TN

On May 22, the Governor of Tennessee issued an executive order allowing for Large Venues to operate at 50% capacity while implementing social distancing measures between groups. This green light has paved the way for an American Saddlebred horse show to be held in Shelbyville, TN, June 17-20. Jackie and James Hale, show co-chairs, have been in talks with the Calsonic Arena since April to relocate the Southern Saddlebred Spring Fling to this venue, pending the State’s reopening plans.

Pandemic Controls
As part of Equine Sports Council’s commitment to athlete and exhibitor welfare, ESC Pandemic Guidelines for each show in our network are customized based on Local and State regulations. A responsive mobile application has been developed to promote limited visits to the horse show office. By signing up with ESCMobile.org for text alerts from Southern Saddlebred, you will receive automatic class counts prior to each performance and will have the ability to add/scratch classes, request a hold, and order shavings from your mobile device. The mobile application is free for all ESC shows and exhibitors.
