Approval & Authorized Use
The 2026 ESC Rule Book, Version 7.2. is authorized for single use to each show that subscribes to the ESC Network of Sanctioned events. Horse Shows that meet operational guidelines, use ESC certified and insured officials, and collect ESC sanctioning fees. Horse Show Permits are displayed in the show offices which grant single use of the ESC Rule Book, access to certified and insured officials, and an independent dispute resolution process.
ACTIVATE SEARCH BOX

TO FAST SEARCH
Use exact key words that will minimize results. For example if searching a pleasure class use “classic pleasure” or “western pleasure” to minimize results. If you search “pleasure” hundreds of pages are returned.

ESC’s rule book is updated during the first quarter of each year. ESC reserves the right to release subsequent updates during the year at least 30 days prior to the start of any show. Proposed rule changes are discussed with members of our Professional Advisory Council (PAC) and Rules and Standards Council, then approved by the Board of Directors. Proposed rule changes may be submitted to any member of the Rules and Standards Council or Professional Advisory Council for consideration. You may also Submit an IR to propose a rule change.
