ESC Certified Officials Covered by $6M Dollar Liability Insurance Policy

PALMETTO, FLA — Organizers within the Equine Sports Council (ESC) network of sanctioned horse shows can operate with confidence, knowing their Officials are protected by a premier, industry-leading master insurance policy.

As part of their ESC annual certification, every Judge and Steward automatically receives coverage of $6 million per occurrence / $14 million in aggregate. This comprehensive coverage is also extended to ESC Show Commissioners and Show Managers.

This Officials Liability insurance is through the National Association of Sports Officials (NASO). NASO is the trusted insurance provider utilized by the National Football League (NFL) and over 20,000 sports officials. This policy provides coverage for claims against Officials for bodily injury, property damage and personal injury (libel/slander) at sporting activities that are organized by recognized sports organizations where the rules of a recognized sanctioning body (ESC) are followed.
