Minnesota’s Octoberfest Horse Show to Receive Marketing Grant from Equine Sports Council
The Minnesota Octoberfest managed by Bill and Wendy Couch is the latest horse show to join the growing network of Equine Sports Council, a non-Olympic horse show governing organization. By joining the ESC Network, the Octoberfest show will receive a marketing grant in 2021 based on the number of horse show entries in 2020. Tom Sworm, a registered ESC Official and the judge of Octoberfest, will receive ESC’s complimentary 12 month – $6 Million dollar NASO official’s liability insurance policy that offers protections at all shows and clinics held in the USA and Canada.

The Octoberfest show offers classes for Saddlebreds, Hackneys and Roadsters that qualify for the Monarch National Championships. Octoberfest is also Star Rated by the American Saddlebred Horse Association allowing exhibitors to earn qualifying for the 2020 UPHA American Royal National Championship held in Kansas City, MO and the 2021 World’s Championship Horse Show held in Louisville, KY. Bill and Wendy Couch also manage the Summerfest and Northstar Americana shows which are also part of the ESC Network of non-Olympic shows.
