The Monarch National Championship
The Monarch Horse Show Network consists of nearly 100 participating equine events across the United States. From Minnesota to California, horse show managers have signed up their shows to be a part of the Monarch Show Series Network so that they qualify for the Monarch National Championship in October. This unique vision – to build a network of mainstream horse shows that all qualify for this “Crown Jewel” competition which offers National Championship opportunities to the middle market for the first time. Tamara Tucker
Tamara Tucker serves Equine Sports Council as Secretary of the Board and Legal Advisor. Tammy practices law in Virginia and South Carolina in the areas of business litigation, insurance defense, equine law, and appellate law. She attended Mary Washington College where she rode on the varsity Equestrian Team. Tammy then went on to law school at the University of South Carolina, graduating in 1994. She regularly represents clients in state and federal courts as well as in arbitration and administrative settings. She is rated AV® Preeminent by Martindale-Hubbell. Shane Darnell
Shane has been involved in the show horse industry for over 40 years, showing under the direction of Taylor River Farm for the last 15 years, he’s achieved numerous Amateur World Titles in the Western, Hunt and English Pleasure divisions. Shane also served on the board for the American Morgan Horse Education Charitable Trust. In 2019, he recognized the need for an alternative non-Olympic horse show sanctioning organization and co-founded Equine Sports Council with Jackie Hale.
